And they have a sauna also free of charge. My room have not 1 but 2 terases. Barbeque included. Big very big livingroom, big bathroom with bathtub. Wonderfull 3. Everithing is clean, much vegatation. 4. The host! The most helpfull host I ever meet! I found every secret of tbe island from him. He is a fabulos person, always with the smile on his face, ever interested to meet his guests needs. If I will ever visit Croatian islands I will defenetly come back here. 5. Peace and relaxation. You will defenetly faund it here. It is not crowded here. We enjoyed the view of the see, scent of the pine and a good coffee.

Boasting a garden, barbecue facilities and views of sea, Gorgonia Apartments & Suites is set in Verunić, 2.2 km from Sakarun Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The location was fabulous in a very quiet bay where church bells from across the water wake you up in the morning and a fresh pastry comes every morning in a bakery van. Sakarun beach is just 5 minutes drive from there. Rooms were well equipped, with great view from the balcony and AC (if needed). We were three adults with a dog and we had no space issues. Possibility to use sea kayaks free of charge was a great advantage as you can reach some nice spots outside the bay. A restaurant with a great rating is a part of the accomodation so you do not need to go far to dine on local specialties. There is also a shop where you can buy groceries although the prices were quite high.

The host made sure the property is fantastically equipped. And also squeaky clean! I highly recommend this place if you like everything to be neat and tidy, and well organized. There was enough of everything - plates, cutlery, blankets (just in case), coffee, sugar, toiletries… you name it. She even brought us fresh linen and towels every few days. Everything was above and beyond to make our stay at the property fantastic. We were very sorry to go home after the stay. She encouraged us to freely eat the fruit from her property grounds as well. I have to say, the host was so awesome, that every time she made homemade cakes for herself, she also brought some for us. Also, we’ve had car troubles during our stay, and the host was kind enough to really help us, she even asked her neighbors to help us as well, lending us tools and driving us to a town nearby, so we could buy a new battery for our car. And when it was time to go home, she even brought us parting gifts… I guess my point is - although the property is fantastic, and very close to the beach, the best part about it was the host. It is situated in a quiet little village of Luka (it has one little grocerie store, one or two restaurants and a coffee shop). There is plenty of on street parking. The host is great and very helpfull. This house is a great starting point for exploring the rest of this beautiful island, would definitely recommend!
