Excaptionally clean and beautiful rooms. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of international as well as local specialisties. The quality was also of a very high standard. As I have been numerous times to Makassar and also know the other Hotels which play in the same league (e.g. the 4 Star Hotels located at the seafront),. the Hyatt offers a way better, more luxurious experience for the same price. In my opinion it is by a large margin the currently best choice for a stay in Makassar.

Facing the beachfront, Harmony Bay Resort and Dive Center has a private beach area. Featuring free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Wonderful, boutique resort with the most incredible staff🤩 Decent, tasty food, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Fantastic location, great snorkelling directly from the beach. We loved everything there and wish to come back!

Guest house này nhìn ra thành phố và cung cấp sân hiên, lễ tân 24/24, cùng Wi-Fi miễn phí ở toàn bộ chỗ nghỉ. this homestay was really really nice. the food 3x a day (7-9am, 12.30pm, 7.30pm) is soooo good. best food i had in indonesia, and different meals each time. Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. The location of the property is the best spot for self snorkelling and they have boat trips for daily snorkel and scuba points with realy good staff and boats are not crowded. This is a family owened bussiness and thanks to Jerry and Wileke they answered all my questions patiently and helped me during our stay. It was very nice listening Jerry's singing with his guitar on the beach. They also have a beautiful large tropical garden.

Firstly, we want to thank Patrick, Ditte, Putih and all the staff for the lovely stay we had at Lavana, all of them are really trying their absolute best to make guests feel at home. From intense boardgame nights to interesting discussions about diving, everything felt really authentic and wholesome. The rooms are very new and the Wifi worked perfectly in the common area. Lastly, we would like to point out the super tasty Tempeh (you need to try it!) and the heartwarming staff! Thank you guys! PS: Patrick is a multi-talented straightforward guy with a hand for fixing any electronic issue you might have :-))

The room is simple but has everything you need (mosquito net, fan), and the family goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Delicious home-cooked food, laundry service, boat trips to beautiful beaches (with fresh coconuts and fishing!), and small scooter trips made our time very special. Perfect for anyone who wants to escape mass tourism and truly connect with local life. Highly recommended!

Loved it : food is amazing, live music, location but above all the family runming the homestay is wondeful. Highly recommend !

We’ve traveled a lot, and this place has probably the most curated and naturally beautiful beach we’ve ever visited. The service is at a really high level, the staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Everything is perfectly curated, and we were spoiled from the moment we stepped in. Snacks are served morning and afternoon, and we had to tell them to stop brining us (delicious) food. Main meals are fresh, locally sourced, and delicious. The manager, Toki, is highly experienced, and even took us strolling around and exploring the nearby area. He joined us several times at the table, and at the end, we felt we were part of their family. Thank you Toki, Micheal and all staff. Leaving this hidden paradise was extremely sad. We will return for sure!
