We loved the location and the warmth shown by both Jane and John, who own the guesthouse. They were a lovely couple who wanted to make sure everything was to their high standards. Nearby horse riding, fishing, golfing and cycling can be arranged if requested. The Cloonagh Cliffs are a short walk away and Raugly Pier is 5 minutes’ drive from the Ocean Heights. On the Wild Atlantic Way, Streedagh Beach is 10 minutes’ drive away. The property's proximity to the beach offered stunning views, and Karen, the host, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The homemade breakfast provided was a delightful touch, enhancing our overall experience.

Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites Boutique Hotel are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views.

The Voya Seaweed Baths and Spa are a 10-minute walk away and fantastic surfing is available on the beach. Strandhill Golf Club is just 500 metres away. Free parking is available. Excellent location for our plan to hike Queen Maeve’s cairn. Convenient to good bar and restaurant.

The spacious rooms at the Waterfront feature TVs, work desks and seating areas. Rooms also include tea/coffee-making facilities, ironing equipment, large bathrooms and some rooms have Atlantic Ocean views. View was amazing - Room 203! So lovely to look out over beach long into the evening. Food at dinner was varied choice, delicious and good value. Brilliant breakfast. Lovely atmosphere in hotel and restaurant...something to do with lighting and cosy feel.
