Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Once a beloved pub and B&B, it has been thoughtfully restored into stylish, private guest apartments with stunning sea and hills views — the perfect retreat for a relaxing stay on Inis Mór. We loved everything about our stay in Tigh Fitz. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with everything we could possibly need. The girls who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms were very friendly, helpful and efficient. But the most wonderful thing about our stay was Penny, the proprietor. She is the kindest, warmest, most helpful woman who went above and beyond to make our stay such an enjoyable one. She organised tours and lifts and even picked us up herself from the ferry port and pub. She gave us such good advice on what to do and see in Inis Mor. We were very, very sorry to say goodbye to Penny when we left the island.

Overlooking its own beach, Ard Einne House Bed & Breakfast provides en suite accommodation with views of the Galway and Clare coastlines. Breakfasts are provided each morning, and Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Had an excellent time at Ard Einne. Place was spotless with a quaint room with an amazing view overlooking the beach and island. Clodagh checked us in and gave us a detailed recommended itinerary of things to do which we did and saw amazing sights like the old ruins/beaches/serpents lair. Breakfast was good with a few options including vegetarian if you wanted.

We didn’t get to stay in the property but did enjoy the Breakfast at the lodge and the staff were very friendly and they had Great rental bikes for €15/ day. Beautiful peaceful location, very close to Don Aeongus and a little beach and a cluster of gift shops and cafes, it’s very hard to get a taxi so cycling/walking is the only way around or you can get on one of the “hop on, hop off” busses.
Fantastic Value. Comfy, clean & homely. Loved the views across fields of wildflowers & traditional stone walls looking onto the infamous Dún Aonghasa Stone fort on the sea cliff. Short walk to Pol na bPéist and a Blue flag sandy beach Staff were so helpful and easygoing- I'd highly recommend it for anyone of any age: couples, families or group of friends.
I considered the Ard Einne my home away from home during my stay. The room was spotless and the view from my window overlooked a tidal beach. Breakfast was delicious and I also loved sitting at the outdoor picnic bench later in the day with a sandwich I picked up from Spar’s in town. Clodagh was a great host who was always willing to make a suggestion for your daily activities whether it was a walk in the area or a bike ride to the other side of the island.
-We loved the friendly, helpful owner, Seán, the multi-talented manager Brenda, and all the interesting staff we talked to. -We loved the food they prepared for us. -We loved the cleanliness, comfort and brightness of our room, and the view! -We loved the quiet location and its closeness to a beautiful beach and many interesting natural, ancient and architectural wonders.
An incredible view of the ocean and stunning nature. Inis Mór is a magical island with special people who make your stay so comfortable, making you fall in love with the place even more!
The staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and super welcoming. So many services available, and the owner was super available to help too. Breakfast has varied choices and it's tasty and filling. The building itself is beautiful and evocative, and merges well with the atmosphere of the landscape. The location itself is stunning, the beach amazing and it's very close to some of the local amenities.
We liked the serene nature, seaside view and the unique structure of the pod. The staffs were helpful.
If you want privacy and away from everything, choose this lodge. Absolutely amazing views everywhere you look: stonewalls, cows and the ocean nearby. Near to amazing Dún Aonghasa(best views on the island) and The Wormhole(I saw 5 dolphins!). About 5km away from the center. Rent a bike from the docks(choose beachroad if youre not feeling sporty ;)), go there with minibus and I believe that you can go there by horse too. Enjoy the silence...unless you have noisy traveller next to your room - walls was like paper.
