Many staff members (Emma, her Brazilian colleague, Teresa from hospitality) were so helpful and friendly that even Hr should be rewarded. This is how I imagine a hotel where staff works for the best experience of the guests. This resulted in a wonderful stay! The room was a superb design. Great views. The 4-beaches-passport is an exceptional idea! The cocktail library is yet to be explored, but we're planning an extra visit. Oh, and the bikes! Martin and Edna were great hosts, we were warmly welcomed and shown around, they also gave good advice on what to do and see in the area. The lodge is set in lovely gardens in a quiet, rural area not far from eating places and historic sites. Our room was well appointed with comfortable furnishings, lots of space and everything we needed for our stay. Breakfasts were delicious with homemade granola, fresh fruit, pastries and a range of other choices for a hot or cold meal. Nick enjoyed an omelette each morning along with generous servings of coffee and tea.

Absolutely everything! The room is clean, comfy, has all appliance you'd need (stoves, cutlery, plates, toaster, kettle, etc.). We specially enjoyed the projector for movie nights ! a lovely note was also the picnic blanket that we used at the beach. To note we don't have a car, but you can walk quite easily to the beach and taxis can come and collect you.

This is a beautiful place to stay! The beds were warm an comfy, and we got to watch the sunrise from bed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Claire was an incredible host!
