The room was clean, the bed alright, and although no breakfast is offered, there were yoghurt and cornflakes for convenience.

The property was immaculate and well-kept. It had a feeling of a home away from home. The host was helpful in suggesting activities to do and was very welcoming. The breakfast was genuine, healthy and enough to keep us full till lunch. The view from the room was awesome. Location is nice and peaceful. Restaurants could be found within walking distance across the bridge.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking. Location was beautiful, got to use the sauna, walk along the beach and watch the surfers, friendly staff, great room, lovely breakfast.

On the inside, it felt very cozy and then you walk outside to the most gorgeous view. We went in the off-season, so there were no tourists, and a lot of shops were closed, but it was very enjoyable.
