With panoramic views of Kenmare Bay and the Kerry Mountains, the luxurious, 4-star Parknasilla Resort & Spa boasts a 9-hole golf course and a spa with a swimming pool, thermal suites, and outdoor hot... Many beautiful walking trails. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Dinners at the restaurants were excellent. Live music in the evening was a nice touch.

A great place to stay for exploring the Kerry Cliffs and the rest of the Ring of Kerry, or for doing a Skellig Michael trip, as those start in the marina of Portmagee, which is close by. The room was clean, the bed alright, and although no breakfast is offered, there were yoghurt and cornflakes for convenience.

Featuring a Thai restaurant and tearooms, the Kells Bay House is set on 40 acres of unique gardens with subtropical plants. Unexpectedly stunning! The gardens and property couldn’t have been more beautiful.

Comfy country home with a super friendly welcome. Short walk across the bridge to Portmagee and a great meal at The Moorings. This is a great base if you’re visiting the Skellig Islands. Be sure to allow time to explore Valentia Island, too. Frances gave us a great map with all the highlights (skip St. Brandon’s Well but definitely visit the Fogher Cliffs and the Slate Quarry). Continental breakfast was provided. The views are amazing and there is a lovely outdoor area for guests.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking. Location, especially if you are golfer playing Waterville.

It was an amazing experience to stay in this uniquely located cottage for one night. It was very comfortable and the host was very friendly, polite and welcoming. But the best part of our stay was the fantastic view overlooking the ocean! There was a beautiful beach right down the hill as well.
