Travelled with our old dog who was allowed to stay “at home” while we took the boat to the Skelligs.

Featuring a Thai restaurant and tearooms, the Kells Bay House is set on 40 acres of unique gardens with subtropical plants. A stunning home with a warm welcome from the owners Penn and Billy. The location couldn't be better and we loved exploring the gardens - a true paradise.

The property was immaculate and well-kept. It had a feeling of a home away from home. The host was helpful in suggesting activities to do and was very welcoming. The breakfast was genuine, healthy and enough to keep us full till lunch. The view from the room was awesome. Location is nice and peaceful. Restaurants could be found within walking distance across the bridge.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking. Location was beautiful, got to use the sauna, walk along the beach and watch the surfers, friendly staff, great room, lovely breakfast.
