We stayed the night before our skelligs trip and it was perfect. We had the downstairs family room. The beds were honestly the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in!! Nice big table for eating at. Featuring a Thai restaurant and tearooms, the Kells Bay House is set on 40 acres of unique gardens with subtropical plants. A stunning home with a warm welcome from the owners Penn and Billy. The location couldn't be better and we loved exploring the gardens - a true paradise.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking. The food in the restaurant was amazing. The main dish which recommended by the staff of the hotel was excellent and delicious.
