We spent new year's eve at Revibe and it was an amazing experience. The whole team at revibe went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. The hostel is at the quieter end of Main Beach on Gokarna which was perfect, there were many food options and everything was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved the location. The property is right next to the beach. The beach is relatively clean with fewer than 10 people at any given time. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunsets and our walks on the beach. We visited during the end of the New Year and the place was calm and peaceful, just the way we like it. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The house itself is very tastefully done. The breakfast on all days of our stay was brilliant. Special thanks to the lady who put in the effort to make them; she always had a bright smile.

Communication with staff was excellent and they were really helpful. The room was super cute and I could have easily stayed longer. The fan, hot water, bidet, swimwear drying racks, lockable wardrobe and mosquito door flaps all worked great, and the swinging chair and fun sink and tiles were a lovely touch. Room was really clean too! It was in a great spot; very quiet and a sweet 5 minute walk to main beach, 15min into town (all felt very safe to walk, at night too). Plenty of food options in walking distance (hard to find early brekkie or coffee though). Felt dreamy and tropical, great vibes and I imagine would be fun alone or with others. And if there for longer than 2n I would defs hire a scooter. Well priced.

OmBodhi Retreat is a beachfront property in Kumta and spread over 10 acres of green landscape. Everything. A beautifully landscaped and peaceful, small resort located on Nirvana or Long beach, a wide, long strip of sand. Our clean and cozy room had a terrace and partial sea view between firs and other trees. The staff were super efficient and friendly. The food tasty with plenty of options. Lots of birds. The only overnight sound, waves. And we saw dolphins from the shore. Rajul, the smart and punctual rickshaw driver linked to the hotel can take you into Kumta town or to the ferry to reach other areas of Gokarna. This resort is faultless. Choose here rather than dirty, crowded Kudle Beach.

I had an amazing stay at Illa by the Sea. The room was massive, luxurious, clean and beautifully maintained, truly beyond expectations. The location is absolutely fabulous, just steps away from the sea, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also had wholesome breakfast that added to the overall comfort of the stay. What made the experience even better were the fantastic hosts who take care of the property. They were warm, attentive, and even arranged a drop off for me upon request last minute. I’m already looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top notch stay away from the hustle bustle of city in Udupi!
