The hotel, was clean and quiet, great location on the outskirts of Trivandrum in a residential neighborhood close to a famous temple with several good vegetarian restaurants nearby; convenient to the airport and was a short tuk tuk ride to Kovalam beach. William and the other hotel staff were so very helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

I loved my stay in the Hostel Stories! It was a place where I could easily connect with other travellers and also with the people working there, it felt like a big family from the first second on. I really enjoyed spending time with All the people there 🥰 The manager even managed to give me a bed one day earlier cause I didn't feel comfortable where I was before, he was really helpful and compassionate! My stay at Abhi’s exceeded my expectations and I was given a very warm welcome and shown to my room which was huge with big windows, cool fans and air conditioning which I rarely used as there was a nice cross breeze with the windows open. I liked that there were tea or coffee making facilities in my room and a small fridge. I felt very safe there and no request was ever too much. The cafe is lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts were the best homemade Indian breakfasts! Mani was always with a smile! Loved the homey feel of this place and the cafe was always very busy so word is out the food is fab! Cute little finches and sweet dogs as well! Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful building and courtyard with gardens and well maintained pool, and a there was a concert of traditional music in the evening with offers of other activities like yoga. The rooms were very clean and mosquitos were almost non-existant across the property. The staff was very nice and helpful, including arranging taxis for our trip to the airport. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant which all seemed to be prepared well and no one got sick in our group (there wasn't any indication we would, food safety was just a big consideration for us on our trip so mentioning it).
