The Hostel Stories, Varkala - Helipad Road ở Varkala cung cấp chỗ nghỉ chỉ dành cho người lớn có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên. Fabulous! This has to be one of the best, if not the best, hostel that I stayed in during my travels. I do not know where to begin in terms of describing just how amazing my overall experience was. The hostel is only a month or so old so everything is, as one would expect, brand new. Setback from the road you're away from the noise and traffic and yet still only a 5minute walk to the bustling cliff area. The dorm rooms are a good size with comfy beds, privacy curtains and individual lockers. The whole place is spotlessly clean. There's a lovely chill out area upstairs with a well appointed kitchen where you can either cook for yourself or buy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner for around RPS150. The garden is a delight to sit in and isn't really overlooked either. What makes this place complete are the brilliant team; huge thanks to Vikram and Pintu who made me feel so welcome and provided so much fun and laughter. Book it now before it's too late!

The hotel is located on a really quiet Street. It's in a great location near the ferry and near interesting locations in Fort Kochi. The rooms are comfortable and clean. And the owner is generous with advice. In addition, there was a kitchen that we were allowed to use. It was really nice to make our own breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious, the staff is amazing, the location is perfect (walking distance to restaurants and also to the beach), the converted bungalow is GORGEOUS, the common area makes it easy to make friends. One of the best hostels I've been in. I'll be back!!

She was so welcoming, upgraded our room because the bigger room was empty. She was extremely helpful with so many different things. We wanted to get customized clothes. She went with us to two different Taylors and in the end advised us to call a Taylor who came to the homestay. She bargained with him and we got the local prices. She helped us organizing our trip to the backwaters (local tour). Tess never asked for extra charges even though she was so invested in our trip to be a great one. the communication was excellent. We are very happy by this sweet encounter and can very much highly recommend staying at the homestay.

The house is beautiful and an oasis of peace in the busy Kerala countryside. The staff is great and you can see it’s a good place to work! The chef is super and we ate there every night. We had a lot of help from the staff to arrange things to do so everything went very smoothly.

The family is amazing—they’ll take great care of you and treat you like one of their own. The beach is right next door, and you can watch beautiful sunsets there. I can 100% recommend this place.
