Met loads of people who we will hopefully meet again on our travels. Organised a slum tour which was extremely interesting. Was supposed to go on local food market tour but it was raining too much so all of the hostel went for food together, organised by the host Priya. She ordered us a range of different Indian dishes so it was fantastic for learning about Indian traditions and Indian dishes. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Mumbai.

Great option, if you want to be near the railway station, as it is only a 10 min walk away and easy to find. It is run by a lovely family, the room is spacious and spotlessly clean, wifi works, aircon too, there is plenty of hot water, the beds are super comfortable and all windows have fly screens. In addition to that, mami cooked us a tasty complimentary breakfast, poha with tea! Full points from us.

It is really a beautiful property with sumptuous views and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. In fact I think it was the staff behavior and politeness that made it a memorable vacation for us. Happy to see the property scaling up - adding rooms & other facilities.

Malgudi Stays-Murud Janjira Beach Family Stay situa-se em Murud, na região de Maharashtra, e apresenta um jardim. The hosts were so helpful and caring ( they even came to the bus station to make sure we got on the right bus ) . We have given all categories 10 because compared to other places in India ( we are 4 weeks in) they merit that score . It was in a lovely quiet position just 3 minutes easy walk to the beach . Pratima is a fantastic cook conjuring up delicious meals on request in advance , her husband Prakash welcomed us with warmth and sincerity nothing was too much trouble for him . Their son Prasanna could not do enough to make our stay memorable . It was the type of stay you didn’t want to leave .

The staff was absolutely amazing and kind during all the time of our stay, willing to provide us the best service. My friend from Brazil who had come to meet me had a really great experience as a foreigner. The place is absolutely spotless, everything was clean and tidy. Food was really good and they took care of our personal preferences.
