The hostel is clean, well maintained and has a great scenic view from the rooftop. The staff is warm and welcoming. My personal favourite were the evening activities organised by Deeya. She ensured we got access to some exclusive events inside Auroville including a pizza night at Youth Center, and a drumming circle at Dinesh restaurant. All in all, a relaxing and soothing stay with exciting new experiences!

Having stayed at Kariappa House I can honestly say that I will certainly be back again. The staff are really very nice and helpful and Ramji was really nice and quite an interesting person. Not sure why an earlier guest did not like him. He went out of his way to help us. We met the owner Kakoli briefly. She was warm and friendly and invited us to stay back for Diwali celebration. The room was very clean and comfortable. Being a day before Diwali there were some cracker sounds but that was everywhere. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the in-house pets, Jazzy and the cats. The best feature was the pool. It was such a treat to have this lovely lap pool all to ourselves. The location is very close to the French Quarter (walking distance) but the approach is through some narrow roads which did not bother us. The Parking was very convenient. I will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Ravi was very responsive even before I arrived and helped me out with the logistics to reach the house. I had the Elephant room and it was fabulous, colorful and fun. There is space to move aound (and even to practice yoga) and the place is well equipped with a kitchen where you can cook, a fridge if you need storage and you can use all he common spaces which are really nice. I had to leave really late my last day, and they extended my checkout by paying half day. The terrace if beautiful and the situation of the house is ideal to explore Pondy, as it's right in the center. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, public transport and everything you may need. They provide you with a very comprehensive map with suggestions (very good ones!) and they take care of you 100%. I absolutely loved everything about it!

Anup and Mahek are the best hosts one can have. Even before we left home he was communicating with us and providing useful info. He helped us plan our trip. He made every effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Mehak, is very sweet. The room we stayed in was comfortable. The property is on the border of the white town and is close to everything.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace, LA VILLA is located 500 metres from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, 1 km from the popular Goubert Market and 1.5 km from Pondicherry Railway Station. Love the room with the balcony I think it’s the largest one, and it’s my 3rd time here. Very very good staff and hospitality and the food is superb. Good location too. My go to place in pondi, would not pick any other space in the city but this.

LOVED the room! So spacious and gorgeous. The brewing station with tea leaves made me so happy. In awe of the Franco-Tamil architecture, so glad they preserved it so well. The property is gorgeous. The staff is so sweet and the chefs are so talented. You've got to try their non-veg Tamil thali for lunch <3 The cooking demos are so fun and educational. The location is perfect for a stroll on the promenade and the beach. They've a lot of tours/activities to do through the property. You can also rent an e-bike and cruise through the quaint lanes near the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a massage parlour, Palais De Mahe is located in Pondicherry. Free Wi-Fi access is available. From the moment we arrived, it was like stepping into paradise. The reception area was so cool and welcoming and we were garlanded with flowers and given a refreshing cool towel and delicious drink. The staff were exceptionally good and accommodated our daughter at short notice. Breakfast was a delight with such a variety on offer and excellent service. The covered terrace has a good breeze. The evening meal was good and bar very relaxing too. The pool is a great place to relax surrounded by the stunning architecture of the building. We all had treatments in the hotel which were excellent. This is a perfect place to stay in Pondicherry.
