The location is absolutely fantastic, close by the beach. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Right from security to the bellhops to the greeters and the checkin and room staff. To went with my wife and small daughter. All the staff were absolutely friendly and my daughter was very extremely comfortable and happy there. The restaurant staff were really pleasant and helpful. Leela gives you real 5* treatment. I’ve started in other 5* properties in india but Leela is a class apart. The pool was fantastic so was the pool staff. The room was very good. They checkin staff were empowered to give us an upgrade at a small amount and hence we got a bay of bengal facing room which was stunning. My kid daughter was so comfortable that she said she wants to stay for some more days. The buffet spread was also nice. We had all the options available in vegetarian and meats and salads and fishes breads and desserts. The sushi during dinner was wonderful. We generally like sushi and hence thoroughly enjoyed it. The chefs used to come and engage with us and asked for feedback. The restaurant staff were really helpful in helping Us with our kid’s breakfast and dinner. The spa was also very good. If we had time we would have g Id say Leela is the best in hospitality. Keep it up. If we took the name of one for additional spa time. The staff are very pleasant and professional. One important thing was we are ordinary people but at Leela Chennai we never felt being overwhelmed either by the grandness of the hotel or by the behavior of the staff. They made us ordinary people feel comfortable and pleasant. Please continue to carry this attitude.
