The property has lake and garden views, and is 45 km from Kirkjufoss. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The kitchenette was very well equipped. Felt like we were in a log cabin. Cozy beds, beautiful view, and met by a friendly host.

Activities such as skiing, cycling, walking tours can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. The bed and breakfast has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Very nice place for either short and long stay 😀

The great grandfather was a postman and his story and photos are presented in a small museum of interest. The cabins and campground are surrounded by nice Icelandic farm views. Two ladies, true musicians, can delight you with their voices and instruments playing. The atmosphere is so friendly...a delight. The cabins are very comfortable and pleasant with good beds, showers....

Situated in the coastal village of Breiddalsvík, Hotel Breiddalsvik offers a large terrace with an open fireplace and rooms with a satellite TV and work desk. The Icelandic Route 1 Highway passes right by the hotel. A wonderful stay. I had a large beautiful room and bathroom. Everything was spotless. There is a spacious room near the lobby with a beautiful fireplace and large comfy sofas. I ate at the restaurant and had the best grilled chicken ever in my life ! The owners are lovely people and helped me alot with ideas of where I should go.

At the hotel, each room includes a desk. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Álfheimar Hotel also offer free WiFi, while selected rooms are fitted with a sea view. Guest rooms include a wardrobe. The wooden construction had 10 rooms in a row. Our room was spacious, well decorated and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was very tasty and of good quality. We are sorry that we did not eat in the restaurant as the menu looked delicious. Location is next to the puffin.
