I absolutely loved the apartment! It is located on a cliff in a quiet place. Yes you have neighbours but you will only see/hear them at the front of the house. The backside looks out over the sea. Great spot to see the northern lights. As with many apartments you don't see the host throughout your stay. I like that. Your door opens with a code. All basic necessities can be found in the kitchen, also a series of books to read and a telescope to watch the stars or birds, boats at sea. The apartment is very spacious with many places to sit. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night. I would love to come back and stay for a week and settle on the couch with a book :-)

Guesthouse Sudur-Bár’s breakfast buffet can be enjoyed before setting out for Stykkishólmur, 40 km away. From there, the Baldur ferry departs for the Westfjords and Flatey island. The host was so kind and welcomed us with hot tea after arriving in the snow! The room was very comfortable and clean. We would happily return!

This cozy place had everything we needed for a perfect stay - warm, immaculate, and thoughtfully equipped. Beautiful scenery right outside the window, and the landlord was wonderfully kind. It felt like a home away from home.

The apartment was in a fantastic location in town - a short walk from the one small grocery store, a restaurant, and a waterfall. It was also an easy drive to all the amazing sights in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. The kitchen has all you might need to cook - including an ample supply of spices and oils to use. All in all this was an amazing place to stay for our first two nights in Iceland.

The dinner buffet is better than we expected. The fish dishes, all the other side-dishes are very delicious. If you got a chance to visit here, dinner is really recommended!

It was clean, very comfortable, nice large room, private bathroom, picturesque location under the hills. Cute pair of cats welcomed us :)
