Amazing place and a beautiful town, view is exceptional with the sunset on one side and a glacier on the opposite, quiet neighbourhood, an amazing terrace! The apartment is one single ambient and I liked that, but not the best option for other type of traveler’s I guess, the kitchen has the basics. There is a nice telescope.

The apartment was in a fantastic location in town - a short walk from the one small grocery store, a restaurant, and a waterfall. It was also an easy drive to all the amazing sights in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. The kitchen has all you might need to cook - including an ample supply of spices and oils to use. All in all this was an amazing place to stay for our first two nights in Iceland.

The kitchen as well was very well equipped (spices, oil, vinegar, dry food) and there were some home made knitted sweaters and mittens you could buy. The room was great and lovely and the best things were the very dark curtains - this comes in very handy when you are trying to block the light from april to august. The bathroom was maybe a bit older but everything was working well. I would def recommend it

This family run guesthouse sits scenically on the Snæfellsnes peninsula on Iceland’s western coast, and features views of the surrounding nature from all rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi. We love everything. The room is great with a fantastic view (that we could see the aurora dancing from our window!) The dinner buffet is a must !!!!! The best dinner we had in Iceland :) We will come back.

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. A well positioned accommodation ready to enter the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. We could dine at the guesthouse for an excellent evening meal. An excellent breakfast was included. They provided a freshly baked gluten free bread of a high quality.
