From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean everything was - clearly a lot of care goes into maintaining this property. Our host Veronique was simply delightful and made us feel so welcome throughout our visit. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, which really enhanced our overall experience. The space itself was cozy and inviting, with a warm atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. We were pleased to find that the accommodation was very well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location worked perfectly for our Iceland adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest after our days of exploring this beautiful country. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with exceptional hospitality. Veronique is a wonderful host, and we’d happily stay here again on our next visit to Iceland!

The guest house offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Veronique is a very very nice Host and did EVERYTHING to make sure our trip was worth it! This included receiving our lost luggage from the airline before we arrived in the accomodation. The Family Room we rented was very big, very clean and very nice. The kitchen was fully equiped, even with a dishwasher! The Hosts sell food and drinks if you need something (cheese, etc). Veronique even left us a nice note in our language (german) on the door. We loved this accomodation.

It is situated 33 km from Skogafoss Waterfall and features a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the barbecue, or enjoy views of the mountain and inner courtyard. Amazing place with even more amazing host! Apartments were clean cozy, host was very accommodating and even gave us a tour on their farm with their animals (there are 3 dogs and 2 cats as well). If we will be planning another trip to Iceland, this booking is definitely on our list.

It was a fantastic experience for myself and the family.

Featuring a lounge and views toward Eyjafjallajökull, Umi Hotel is located at the foot the famous volcano in South Iceland. It features a terrace and views of the sea. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Vik is 41 km away. We stayed at Umi Hotel in Skógar for two nights as part of my birthday celebrations. The room was spacious, luxurious, and offered an incredible view of the surrounding landscape. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant both nights; the food and service were exceptional. The lounge provided a relaxing atmosphere with great service and phenomenal decor. Everything was well-maintained and clean, contributing to a comfortable and relaxing stay. The private beach was incredible, especially near sunset. The location was close to several points of interest, including Skógafoss waterfall and the Eyjafjallajökull Visitor Centre. The sauna was absolutely incredible; we were fortunate to have it to ourselves, and the pastoral view from the glass wall was breathtaking.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Really great experience in Vik. Hrund is a great host and even gave us a little shark & schnaps, typical Icelandic, we felt more like in a home than in a hotel. The position is also very good and strategic for all things around Vik. Recommended!
