Our stay at the Guesthouse was excellent, even though it was short. It's a little bit out of the way, BUT the surprise was evev bigger. The owners, Leslie and Craig, have done wonders, and the accommodation is excellent, and the owners are so hospitalitable. Great choice from us 👏👏

The shared kitchen has new kitchenware and very convenient compared to other hotels that shared kitchen provided very old and not so clean kitchenware. It is located in remote area so it is quite peaceful and beautiful scenic view. We are happy there is very good warm pool nearby. The pool is cozy and not crowded at all.

Amazing place and a beautiful town, view is exceptional with the sunset on one side and a glacier on the opposite, quiet neighbourhood, an amazing terrace! The apartment is one single ambient and I liked that, but not the best option for other type of traveler’s I guess, the kitchen has the basics. There is a nice telescope.

Featuring free WiFi, Tangahús Guesthouse offers accommodation in Borðeyri. Certain rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Some units have views of the sea or mountain. We got the apartment style room and couldnt have been happier. Place had many amenities and kitchen was fully stocked. Washroom clean and rooms spacious. Great location as well right by the water.

The hosts were exceptionally helpful, well beyond what I expected. My wife and I arrived fairly late (8:30 pm), and we found that the bathroom was too difficult to access, given her mobility issues. I had reserved a room with shared bath, but had not considered that the toilet would require several stairs. The host sent us to a nearby hotel that had an easier toilet access, without any extra charge. We were very grateful for this. The facility looked very nice with a superb scenic view.
