This hotel is immersed in the Gargano National Park, set on a cliff overlooking Zagare Bay and Mergoli Bay beaches. Location near the best beach in puglia area, with access to the beach by elevator was literally a dream. The hotel even if it was fully booked was not feeling crowded! The Puglia evening thematic night was a highlight of our trip, we had so much fun there. The breakfast has everything we could wish for, quality and high standards. Dinner were also tasty and not overpriced I can say! Rooms well equipped with amenities and everything you need.

Located just outside the old town and castle, so easy to walk in. Wonderful hosts who, despite the abnormally cold, rainy and windy weather, were waiting for us in the street, having saved a parking space for us right outside.the building. Because of the weather we didn’t go far into Vieste, but took advantage of the very comfortable room to catch up on admin, etc. They recommended a very good trattoria for dinner - La Tavernetta - close by. Next morning an excellent breakfast. We definitely hope to return.

Le Case di Chri was in an excellent location—just a short walk from the beach and ideally situated for exploring beautiful towns like Vieste, Peschici, and Vico del Gargano. The property is nestled in a charming olive grove, offering a peaceful and scenic setting. Inside, the accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s only a 5-minute drive from Mattinata, a picturesque town with several excellent restaurants. The house was well furnished, with a fantastic shower and the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in! Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and explore the stunning Gargano region.

Maria, manageress, could not do more for guests. An example - we lost reading glasses and she both phoned and then called to the restaurant where we felt we had left them. Exceptionally clean. Decor lovely. Very comfortable room and great shower. An easy stroll to old town. Breakfast in adjacent cafe, where standards were high and staff very friendly.

Vieste is a special place - beautiful and historic, with great atmosphere. Portamarina rooms have an excellent location - near the water but close to services and the old quarter, fun to explore. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, calming, spacious, everything works well. We had the Deluxe room with balcony and sea view (best room) and were very happy with it. The included breakfast at a very close-by cafe is just croissant, orange juice and coffee, but that will work for many people (we bought yogurt and nuts at a grocery store to supplement). Andrea is a wonderful host - full of useful information and very caring.
