Delicately prepared Japanese meals are offered. This was our absolute favorite hotel during our entire trip to Hokkaido! The hotel is incredibly beautiful, with aesthetic details everywhere you look. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. You can even book a private hot spring, which was such a special experience! We chose the breakfast-included option, and it was absolutely amazing—so delicious and abundant. On top of that, the restaurant’s view was breathtakingly beautiful. Our room was simply perfect—we loved it so much! It was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a stunning view of the ocean right outside. We are already looking forward to coming back again in the future! Thank you so much to the Wakamatsu and all the wonderful staff for giving us such a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Otaru Geihinkan is a recently renovated ryokan set in Otaru, 8.6 km from Otaru Station. This 3-star ryokan offers luggage storage space. There is a restaurant serving French cuisine, and free private parking is available. Very modern for Japan and lots of space. Incredible view over the bay and area to sit out. Rare in Japan. Nice little beach. Restaurant first class and worthy of a Michelin star in my opinion. Excellent service and staff who Spk a bit of English and try their hardest to help in any way. If you are going to Hokideo this is a fabulous base. Ps you need a car though ! I never leave reviews but this place is special. 12 out of 10 👌👍

The property is non-smoking and is located 44 km from Mount Iou. everything! the house was located right by the beach and the entire house was comfortably designed for modern comfort. there was everything you need to live there. we had a good time on the balcony looking at the sunsets. the rooms were really comfortable and en-suite. it was not in the main town but that was part of the reason why we liked it. there’s a minimart just 5min walk away if you needed any last min supplies.
