The staff are very attentive and helpful, they showed us a tour on arrival of the property and the shared grounds. Explained how to use everything! They have free to use utensils for cooking, free coffee and tea, sauna and rooftop mini pools with a view of the sea. It feels very luxurious and very peaceful. Definitely recommend!!

She is totally Japanese in terms of friendliness, kindness, and hospitality but she is also atypical Japanese. She is full of energy, jokes, and very open-minded. If you meet her, you will find this out. The guesthouse location is 20 minute bicycle ride from the Kinosaki onsen so consider this if you wish to stay at her guesthouse. But if you do, the guesthouse is in a beautiful location near the sea and river. If you go in the summer, you can surf in the sea or kayak in the river. Both at walking distance. In the summer, I hear they occasionally have BBQ. Bike rental is 150 yen and the ride to the onsen is pleasant. Yuka-chan will help you out with recommendations of what to do and where to eat.
