The rooms are massive by Japanese standards, it’s 2 minutes from the beach but still quiet and the facilities including private class are much higher quality than the cost of the stay would make you think. We had the tasting menu two nights in a row from the hotel restaurant and it was unbelievably reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The second night the chef asked if we’d like anything different and also made a bespoke cake for my birthday with a birthday message written in chocolate sauce. Wee details like this are amazing! Staff are incredibly friendly. It’s a small, high class boutique hotel with an incredibly small fee for what you get. Go here.

The staff greets you with warm tea, walks you to your room and explains everything. They had a card set out to congratulate us on our honeymoon. They provided tea, coffee, and complimentary beer. It was so beautiful we wanted to stay longer but our itinerary was packed!

The shared toilet, located in the corridor, was also impeccably maintained. We really appreciated the simplicity and thoughtful design of the space, featuring high-quality wooden floors and comfortable bedding. This is Airbnb at its best. The owners live on the property and host just two guest rooms, which makes the experience feel personal and special. They provided a helpful booklet with recommended spots to visit and were truly the kindest, most welcoming people we met. You can truly feel that CASA was created with love — and that love is extended to every guest who stays there.
