They picked us up at the port to the hotel. The welcome drink was so refreshing. The room was big and spacious. The breakfast was served japanese style and western style. We also availed dinner there and the food was great! The chicken wings were so addictive, the sashimi was so fresh, the chahan was so flavorful. The location is close to the beach. We can't wait to be back.

All units will provide guests with a fridge. The breakfast and dinners each day were delicious and freshly cooked. The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating, from always re-filling our glasses to picking us up from the ferry port. Aka Island was a beautiful getaway, and the lodging was the perfect place to enjoy it!

They have a resident pig which is very cute. Food was excellent. Owner was so kind to share miso soup recipe and even gave me the miso paste which i was so touched. Walked to the beach whenever we felt like it

Our host Takago was sooo great, super super friendly, funny, cool & an amazing cook. Plus we got to meet many other nice travellers there and it was always a nice place to be. The food she cooked for us was amazing and super authentic. The island is small and you can walk almost everywhere. The island itself looks like it's a bit deserted. The houses aren't pretty and there isn't much, so don't be repelled by this. We were a bit suspicious at the start but in the end it was our very favorite thing!
