Very nice stay with the best hosts ever. Beautiful beach nearby (38 steps- that is why the name). Lovely swims with turtles and at evening a fantastic sky with stars. The breakfast wonderful especially the japanese style one. We also ate very good food at the place evenings. Best recommendations.

Fantastic place, hosts are so wonderful, we got caught by massive storm while being at Furuzamami and had to leave bikes from Yenn's Marina there due to heavy conditions, as were offered a ride by car by some locals, hosts pick the bikes later by themselves. Tastefull breakfast and just two houses away from very good restaurant, rooms are very clean and spacious. Thank you for your hospitality.

The staff was incredible friendly and helped us an any way they could. The wonderful Ahren Beach is just down the street. There are life jackets free to use from the hotel, which was very convenient. The food was delicious and it was great to try different Okinawan dishes. The atmosphere is really nice and you may connect with other travellers.

Snorkeling place across road from front door. Owner picked us up from ferry and left us back again at end of stay which was great. Would highly recommend.

Kuctcha Homestay has everything you need for a great stay. The location is perfect – close to all the main attractions, yet peaceful and quiet. The room is well-equipped, and the hosts pay attention to every detail to make you feel at home. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our most favorite stay of our whole Japan trip. The main reason for this was that it's a homestay. Our host Takago was sooo great, super super friendly, funny, cool & an amazing cook. Plus we got to meet many other nice travellers there and it was always a nice place to be. The food she cooked for us was amazing and super authentic. The island is small and you can walk almost everywhere. The island itself looks like it's a bit deserted. The houses aren't pretty and there isn't much, so don't be repelled by this. We were a bit suspicious at the start but in the end it was our very favorite thing!
