We had the pleasure of staying in a traditional Japanese holiday home in Miyazu, and it was an unforgettable experience. The house offered a stunning view of the sea and was both aesthetically pleasing and exceptionally well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Japanese style and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, responding promptly when we needed assistance-whether it was booking a taxi or helping with the bicycles. Their attentiveness added to the overall comfort of our stay. This was a perfect getaway, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience traditional Japanese hospitality in a beautiful setting.

The asian breakfast was superb, i went downstairs to 2F and it was waiting for me with a ticket with my name 🥰 The staff was kind and friendly and very helpful. I loved the cozy and personal atmosphere, and the view of the sea/harbor from my room was amazing.

The whole house is beautifully appointed, the bathroom was fantastic, and the bath size is very generous. We loved the massage chair and the relaxed feel of sitting around the kitchen island. You can stroll along the ocean nearby and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

Due to language barrier, no fault of the staff, they did their best to answer my question and was friendly. The room was spacious, clean, had available items for me to use. There is no formal check in counter. They do provide instructions how to access your room via email. The room itself is not located where the photo you see online. Read what they send you via email. The location is so convenient. If you don’t have a lot of needs and you are self sufficient. This is the place is great to stay. Thank you Chitose, Amanohashidate is a beautiful seaside town.

They got everything you’ll possibly need and more. To start, the location was amazing. It is situated right in front of the inland sea which means the shoreline was very tranquil and makes healing sound.(not too loud) Facing east so that you can actually see the sun rise from the room waking up. The bath tub also was facing the east so when taking the bath you could watch the waterline too. All the amenities were organic and smelled good. The wall which the house owner explained they were made of traditional Japanese paper and I’m pretty sure they were immersed with charcoal so that it looked chic and had a gentle smell of calmness. The entire facility we can see was created and taken well care of with thoughtfulness. Our experience there became so relaxing and memorable one thanks to the everyone involved with the facility!
