I enjoyed this hostel way more than some of the hotels I stayed at in Korea. The host is amazing and also owns the Cinnabon downstairs. Everyday you get free coffee and pastries and it was just such a nice gesture. The hostel is spotlessly clean and with very comfortable beds and great wifi. I was alone most of the time so it was like having a hotel room for the price of a hostel

This is a comfortable place to stay and very close to the station. The breakfast made it completely worth the stay. Freshly made food with eggs, meat, and fruit were the perfect start to our day. The owners are very friendly and welcoming too. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything about the guesthouse totally exceeded our expectations and the host was the best person ever - extremely polite and friendly, helped us figure out all the buses we needed, provided every possible information about the sights around, even prepared breakfast in the morning! The House Hostel is located in Sokcho. Free WiFi access is available. The bus terminal is 5 minutes' walk away. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning. The hostel is well located in Sokcho, you can reach the market and harbour just by walking a few minutes. For further destinations theres a bus stop for the regular busses just around the corner and even the bus terminal for intercity busses is just a short walk away. During my stay the hostel was very quiet, which was perfect as I came here for relaxation and hiking. I had a single room with my own bathroom, which seemed extremely luxurious after staying in dorms for a while. The room was big and tidy, same goes for the bathroom.
