Really lovely room, staff were incredibly helpful and lots of attention paid to kids. Staff went out of their way to get us a table for dinner on NYE, dinner at Shang Palace was fantastic.

Excellent facilities and hospitality from all of the staff. Lovely place to stop over whilst you are stopping off in Colombo. Also great choice of food options within the hotel. The room was also large with every facility you could ask for.

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay and relax. The host gave us a warm and friendly welcome and greeted us around 9pm at night. The host is very helpful and accommodate to our special request. We stayed at 2 different rooms and both have their own unique and beautiful decorations. Love both rooms especially the bathrooms very much. Feel like having shower in the nature. It's a good place to stay at the end of our holiday trip and will remember it always.

If I should come back to Colombo, I would stay here again in any case. The hotel shines with its cleanliness and is very professionally run. The room has everything and everything works perfectly. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel here. The closeness to the beach is brilliant. You can reach the ocean in just 2 minutes walking distance and have a beautiful beach for walking and swimming. On the other hand, you are not just in a touristic part of the city and have various local shopping facilities and restaurants right on your doorstep. The location is very quiet and the singing of the birds makes you feel like you're not in the big capital. The internet is very fast and working the whole time. The breakfast was very delicious.
