The service is excellent, and the restaurant offers a delicious and diverse menu. There are plenty of excursion options nearby, with stunning wetlands and lagoons perfect for bird watching. This wonderful place has been crafted with great care. Interestingly, it is also very affordable compared to other hotels. It's definitely worth traveling a bit further to enjoy this exceptional and beautiful spot. An absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The host is very generous and helpful, probably the best host I’ve ever met. He basically helped us with everything, the booking of kayaking in the lake, the turtle watching, he took us to the beach and shared lots of useful information. He even waited at the beach to ride my kids back by his motorcycle when it was almost 10 pm. As we were swimming, he arranged our dinner by the pool. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. As for the villa, it is clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Every room has a clothes drying rack, which is very thoughtful. My favorite is the swimming pool, very clean and modern, there is also a kids pool too!

I highly recommend staying at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa. I spent four nights here and its been such a wonderful stay. Sandhu and his family are really beautiful people and they will make your stay amazing. They are kind and considerate. I had many talks with Sandhu and he is an incredible young man. The villa itself is very beautiful and surrounded by psalm trees. I enjoyed sitting out on the verandah every day watching some cute little monkeys in the trees and also watching colourful peacocks walk by. The bed in the villa was so comfortable and the shower was really good. The wi-fi worked very fast as well. The room was very clean and private. The surrounding area is very tranquil which I loved. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and I ate breakfast and dinner there every day. I walked to a very serene beach every day. It's very close by. Thankyou so much Sandhu for all of your help. This has truly been my best stay in Sri Lanka and I have enjoyed every moment. My stay has been so wonderful.

The location is excellent since it is close to the centre but in a quiet area. And it is also very close to the beach. I highly recommend the place.
