Perfect location: behind the railway station and next to the beach. At the same time, very peaceful and far from noises. Beautiful villa with well-maintained swimming pool and perfectly cleaned rooms. Nothing is missing inside the apartments, both in the bedroom and bathroom, which have everything you need and are presented in a lovely way. Yes air conditioned. Yes hair dryer. Breakfast included: fresh juice, possibility to have coffee and eat both salty/sweet food. Most importantly, the staff is very friendly, smiling and happy to help for whatever necessity. I strongly recommend Thoduwawa Beach Villa!

We stayed at Ayana Seas for five nights. This small resort is located nearby a small village south of Colombo. Took about an hour and a half from the airport. The vibes were quiet, super chill and peaceful. The resort is right on the beach, and it's one of the best we hit up in Sri Lanka. All the staff were super friendly. The beach is gorgeous, but the waves were a bit gnarly for swimming when we were there, so we just hung out by the pool. The food was good overall, and you gotta try the seafood sizzling dish platter—it was bomb. Bed was very comfortable. We got lucky and saw a bunch of baby turtles hatching on the resort beach. We even helped some of the little dudes find their way to the ocean. All in all, it's a sweet and serene resort.

This villa was absolutely beautiful, it’s just been renovated to a very high standard. The whole villa has a stunning design and is very modern, it’s of outstanding quality, and extremely clean. The walk in showers are amazing, the bathrooms, bedrooms and living area are all beautifully designed. The villa is decorated to perfection, with Sri Lankan furniture and beautiful Sri Lankan paintings. You get the entire apartment on the top floor to yourself, and there is a private entrance to the top villa and a kitchen area. This villa is very private and has a lovely swimming pool in the garden. Rosa and her daughter Zara runs this property and they are wonderful, very hospitable people, they speak English and German fluently. The breakfast was delicious, with so many different combinations of Sri Lankan and continental with plenty of fresh fruits. The location is very nice and quiet, and in walking distance to the beach. Aluthgama is just up the road and has plenty of shops, restaurants, banks/ATM a good train station, and buses that run past every 10 minute. You will also love Billy the dog, he’s such a friendly dog and a big part of Sunny Villa. I highly recommend this property it’s very good value for money.

We had a stay of one night after our stay at the other villa of Shameera. Also this Villa is a great place to be, really fantastic. Once again, the host Shameera is a wonderful guy. He is so kind and polite, he helped with everything. eg giving some really good hints, what to do and what kind of activities are good to join. It was our pleasure to stay in this Villa also and also to meet such a great person like Shameera. Thank you for everything, you have done for us. The hospitality was truly nice, and the host was very helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. It’s a convenient and quiet place — perfect for a peaceful getaway!
