Super clean and lovely design. I finally felt like I was in a decent hotel after many basic homestays. I felt looked after, the massage chair was a blessing, and the breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend especially after more intense travels to relax a bit. :) Oh and the WiFi is very good.

The resort also offers a garden with outdoor furniture, a minibar, bathtubs and ironing facilities. The reception staff were very helpful. We had to move our booking a few times due to circumstances and the hotel staff were very helpful.

Our vilas and the common areas were spotless/clean, and the property is well maintained. We loved waking up to a beautiful view each morning. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful beach getaway.

The room was really clean, comfortable bed. Loved the location, because we could walk to the centre and it was very quiet around the accommodation. Would highly recommend the accommodation :)

There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site.

A bicycle rental service and a private beach area are provided at Painkiller Hiriketiya. I had the absolute best time in Hiriketiya thanks to Charitha and his family! I was supposed to stay for 5 days, but I ended up extending to 3 weeks — and honestly, I would’ve stayed even longer if I could have. Charitha goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. He often organizes meals, snacks, and drinks (his wife is an amazing cook!). He’s super responsive on WhatsApp if you have any questions or concerns, and he’s always genuinely happy to help. He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and a true example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The facilities themselves were excellent — I have no complaints at all. The location is also perfect: surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and boutiques, and just a couple of minutes from the beach. I would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay with them!

The accommodation was in a very good location, close to the beach and to many restaurants. The whole hotel is beautiful, full of plants, and places to hang out with other guests. The rooms are freshly renovated, so everything was clean and new, having all the necessary things for your stay. Hotel manager Dmitrij was going above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and that we have all that we need. He shared his map of places to eat all along the coast, which he updates regularly, he borrowed us towels for the beach and his diving Tshirt. And he managed to arrange us last minute pickup to take us to another city for a safari. It was one of the best hosts that we had in Sri Lanka.

Clean, cozy, great common areas and a share kitchen. Perfectly located between busy Weligama and hip Ahangama. Surfers converge in this small, quaint town to give it life without overbearing it. The hostel was quiet at night and had a nice coffee machine set up for the mornings. Staff is very friendly! Don't skip this place!! It recently opened and is about to become the best place in town. I extended my stay and wish I didn't have to leave. Thanks Max!
