We stayed at Mimoza Mirissa during our whale watching trip to Mirissa on B&B basis. Everything about this little hotel is excellent. It's situated at walking distance to Mirissa fishing harbor where whale watching tours start and also less than 1.5 km from the secret beach and <1km from Mirissa town. The rooms are comfy, well maintained and come with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and courteous and provides excellent service. And flexibility at arrangements is also noteworthy. And all of this comes at a very fair asking price. If you're visiting Mirissa area this is the easiest to recommend. But you may have to make reservations in advance. Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. Everything especially the staff. Very accommodating and welcoming.

Fantastic hotel from the moment we checked-in until check-out! Staff really was there to help when needed and swimming pool was amazing! A little bit overvalued in terms of pricing in my opinion for Sri Lanka but overall it was a super nice stay and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious and a lot to choose from!

The hotel is newly opened, with beautifully renovated rooms. It’s close to Weligama beach for surfing and walking distance from the magnificent jungle beach for swimming. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. WiFi is good. Breakfast was delicious. And the two rescued kittens stole my heart.

Loved our stay so much that we extended it. The location is very good- 1 minute walk to the beach, many food places nearby. The place is very clean as well. They give you beach towels too. And special mention to the hosts, they are all wonderful people. They made us feel at home.

Everything has been amazing we truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The place is beautiful and the service was excellent. Just one thing to keep in mind: the floors can get very slippery when wet, so it’s important to be careful.

Amazing location. 2 minute walk to the sand and a 5 minute walk to Smoke and Bitters. 5 minute walk to all the amazing beach front bars and places to eat.

We enjoyed our stay there a lot. Its a soundproof room. Everything was clean but the washroom could be better. The staff was very helpfull but I think they are not available after evening. Bonus we got: last morning I weakup with a loud voice and after I check, I just found a peacock was roaming on our lawn.
