Sea Sand Resort está ubicado en Kalpitiya y tiene un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar. If you never been to Kalpitiya, it has a sense of being on the outskirts of civilization. Here you stay nestled among the houses of the locals and share the beach with its fishermen. Beside great kite- and windsurfing (and endless beaches of course), there is not a ton of things to do in Kalpitiya. Scuba diving is good, when there is visibility. Dolphin watching is also a possible activity, but quite an expensive one that last a couple of hours. You won’t find any city center with shops, bars and restaurants near, but you can of course visit other resorts and use their facilities. However you should know that you have a very good restaurant on site if you stay at the Sea Sand Resort! This establishment is made up of about 10 small bungalows with a restaurant. The bungalows are quite basic, but very clean and comfortable and represents good value for money. Within about 10 minutes or more on foot, you can reach surf schools and beaches. From my own experience I can promise that you will be very well taken care off if you chose to stay at Sea Sand Resort.

Amazing stay at Kitelantis - friendly and super nice staff, spacious bungalows, delicious food and good kitesurfing on the spot across the lagoon. Jessy also organised trips around Sri Lanka - overall an amazing experience and one to repeat!

Windy Waves Beach Nature Resort & Kite School está ubicado en Kalpitiya, a a pocos pasos de Playa de Kudawa, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, zona de playa privada y... The location is superb for relaxing at the beachfront. The food was amazing, and breakfast was excellent. The seafood platter for dinner was superb. I highly recommend it for visitors to stay here.

Surfpoint Sri Lanka Kite Village está ubicado en Kalpitiya, a a pocos pasos de Playa de Kudawa, y tiene alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, zona de playa privada y salón... Right at the beach. Perfect location if you want to do some kitesurfing. You can do a downwinder home ;-) Food was delicious, room was clean and big with AC and a fan. Laundry Service. and whatever you ask for… We stayed here for 7 nights and my friend took some kitesurfing lessons. Shawn is a great teacher and also the rest of the crew were super friendly, welcoming and took good care of us. We also left the kitebag at the place to continue our travels and got it sent back to Colombo (for a fee) however what a service :) All in all, we were very satisfied and had an amazing week! Sandy Edge cuenta con vistas al jardín, está ubicado en Kalpitiya y tiene un restaurante, servicio a la habitación, bar y jardín. The host family were amazing, they looked after us so well! The food was amazing and it was just the most relaxing stay!

We loved our stay in Anawasal, which concluded our 6-week journey around Sri Lanka. Our bungalow, overlooking the lagoon was cosy and comfortable. The morning yoga lesoons with Shiby were invigorating and energising, followed by a huge, delicious home-made breakfast. Dinners, consisting of Sri Lankan seafood specialties were a treat as well. The thing that makes Anawasal special, however are definitely the people, the people we met there, as well as the lovely couple who runs it and their wonderful staff. They all create an ambiance, that makes Anawasal a truly special spot in Kalipitya to unwind or experience adventure. Loved seeing the dolphins too. Such an unforgettable experience!
