The spot is tide-dependent - I had one session per day with high-tide when you can launch at the hotel. During low tide, the hotel provides fun transportation (via tractor) to the water. I had couscous on the day of my arrival, and it was the most delicious meal I had on my entire trip. I did an organized downwinder to the white dune, which was fun. Kite school was very helpful with doing some repairs on my equipment. All rooms have a great view - lagoon and sunset is truly amazing. I stayed in two other places in Dakhla and this one is my favorite due to location and relaxation factor.

Very nice resort, with super friendly staff - from the reception, to the kitchen, the bar, the cleaners - every one was genuinely friendly. The hotel is set up beautifully in front of the lagoon, and all the areas are very cozy: the indoor restaurant, the outdoor sitting area, the outdoor beach bar, the yoga room: everything is neat! The food was incredibly good, with a huge buffet offering lots of different options (we even found the quality to be way better than the more expensive hotels on the other side of the lagoon!). Our bungalow room was comfortable, and the cleaning ladies even offered to clean it twice a day if we wanted (which was'nt necessary for us, but still a nice gesture/option!). The director was around during our stay, and he seemed friendly not only to the customers but also to the staff, while having everything under control. The free pick-up/drop off shuttle was very convenient as well. The wingfoil instructor we had - Rachid - was super nice and competent, and he was the reason we decided to take more lessons despite the high prices. Also a special shout out to the barman (the one that was running the beachbar during the afternoons), who was incredibly friendly and professional, with strong communication skills in english as well.

He came to take us from the airport, showed us a spotless and very tidy apartment and gave us all relevant contacts to move around Dakhla !

The food during the week was FANTASTIC!!!! (On Friday there was a buffet which wasn´t as good as the food they served during the week although it wasn´t bad either. The girl that served us was very helpful and super kind. We needed to get a plane early morning so they made especially for us a breakfast at 5.30 but we could even have it earlier.

Situated in Dakhla in the Oued Eddahab-Lagouira Region, 30 km from Kite Surf (Shop and beach), Résidence Tamaya features a barbecue and views of the city. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property.... I was in a big apartment with two bedrooms,living room with kitchen, bathroom. Big TV with android box with Netflix and other channels. Located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Dakhla, Dar Rio Oro offers a terrace with sea views and Moroccan lounges. Excursions and guided tours can be organized at the property. Very nice staff , ok location , available parking lot , generous breakfast variety.. I would book again at dar Rio 0ro .

If you are looking for the perfect mix between the most friendly staff (who will say hi with a smile everytime you see them and will pick you up from the airport in the middle of the night), good food (3 times a day), clean and well maintained facilities and an easy spot where you can (kite)surf; this is the place you want to stay at.
