The location was fantastic, centrally located and the host was both friendly and generous. As we asked about local dark beer, she provided two bottles of a new local dark beer the next morning. We did not cook in the apartment, but adequate pots and pans and dishware were available. She arranged for pick-up at the front door on our departure in the city's secure Old Town are. The room was very clean and guest expectations were clearly posted in the room and near the check-in.

Also to have a balcony is a nice change, and outdoor seating is a great idea too. Location is superb, you are close to shops, restaurants, other places to eat, the promenade, old town, transport etc. Though the place is close to a busy street, it is quiet place to stay.

I want the interior designer of this guesthouse to design my house! Everything from the kitchen tap to bathroom tiles just looks gorgeous and screams quality. Each detail has been given attention, down to electronic insect repellents. Additionally, there is a distinct 21st century feel with touch-activated light switches or electronically controlled stovetop. Yet the proprietor offered us traditional Macedonian hospitality by picking us up at the bus station, which we are very thankful to him for as my mom is mobility impaired. Location, location, location. The place is right below the old town, some quarter or third way up, yet within minutes of the main shopping street, and a supermarket. You could not possibly wish for a better position within the town, as everything necessary is within reasonably easy reach.
