I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who assisted me on my arrival on May 30th - because he was so exceptional (it wasn't the manager who wasn't there). Either way - exceptional hotel. Gorgeous rooftop with a view of the harbour. Also the unique character of the former Palazzo really shines through. There's a ferry service at the door of the hotel to take you to Valletta which is quite fun. And Birgu itself is charming and historical. I nice change from the more over-touristed pace of Valletta.
