We slept even better than at the five star resort we had arrived from. Small, but adequately equipped kitchenette. Perfect location for staying a night in Huhulmale and travelling to the airport.

The bar atmosphere was amazing with great music, fantastic cocktails, and a perfect balance between fun and relaxation. The events were beautifully organized, and the food deserves a very special mention. The lobster, the seafood, everything was outstanding. Every meal felt thoughtful, fresh, and truly special. We would especially like to thank Earnest, who was absolutely incredible with us. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made such a difference in our experience. We were genuinely impressed by the food at Merlin. Everything was exceptional, from the flavors to the presentation, and each dinner felt memorable. What truly sets this resort apart is the management’s approach. The manager personally checked in to ensure every guest’s needs were met, showing a level of care and attentiveness that is rare and deeply appreciated. We celebrated our anniversary here, and it could not have been more perfect. Without a doubt, this is the most beautiful, turquoise, and breathtaking beach we have ever experienced. I liked how we could take the bikes everywhere. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Kids menu and variety was great. Location and scenery was beautiful. The resort is super clean and beautiful.

This resort has a private beach area and bike hire is available. You can engage in various activities, such as golfing, snorkeling and windsurfing. Male International Airport is 37 km from the property. We had an amazing time at Meeru! Even though we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, this truly felt like a dream vacation—absolutely spectacular. The resort has fantastic facilities, from a well-equipped gym to a tennis court, soccer field, and even padel. I spent more time exploring the island than in the gym though—walking around paradise is a workout in itself! The staff were wonderful, and both the buffet and à la carte restaurants were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded from a beach villa to a water villa, and I have to say, it made a world of difference. If it’s within your budget, I’d definitely recommend splurging on a water villa or one with a private pool. We saw so many sharks and colorful fish right from our deck—it was magical. We also went for the all-inclusive option. Even though we’re not big drinkers, it felt worth it just for the peace of mind. Everything is priced in USD and things can get quite expensive, so it was nice not having to think about every meal or drink. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

The staff are so friendly and positive and always happy to have a chat. I would love to thank Mae our host again for everything she did for us, she was so amazing. The rooms are very cool…..we actually stayed in a garden villa and pool villa and they both were great but highly recommend the pool villa as it was so nice for us to have some space to ourselves to enjoy each others company during the day. The food was also good and lots of variety. I could say so much but I hope one day we can come back.
