As seasoned travelers who are admittedly hard to impress, Movenpick Maldives managed to completely wow us. Our seventh time and resort in Maldives and eventhough the other resorts were amazing, this place is just special and we had a time of our life here. This review is more a love letter to Movenpick Maldives than a review. The resort and its staff brought perfection to another level. The natural beauty of the island combined with beautiful, modern yet cosy accommodation (we stayed 10 nights in water villa No. 153 during Easter 2024), a fantastic house reef teeming with fish and turtles, delicious food, and perfect service made this a holiday of a lifetime. We felt pampered, spoiled and special. Their motto of creating memories here is not empty, and every member of the staff smiles and goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your time here. You don't feel like the next guest here, you feel like the only guest. Our family wants to thank again all the team of Movenpick Maldives, especially the general manager Stan and Chippe, Mirzo, Shair, Raj, Regina, Lisa, Queenie, Nung, Wesley, and the security, cleaning and dive team Lee, Tom, MeiMei, Cornellia and others. The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is a 52-acre resort set in the heart of Noonu Atoll. Featuring spacious 221 beach and over water villas, the resort boasts an adults only infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean and a family pool in lush tropical surroundings. Guests can relax themselves at The Spa by Thalgo France, where a variety of massages and signature spa treatments are provided, chosen from eastern and western healing practices. The resort is absolutely stunning, just how you imagine a dreamy Maldives resort would be. We loved our beach villa. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and stepping straight onto the gorgeous beach with our sunbeds beckoning us to stay a while. It was a dream. And the staff were exceptional! To name just a few: Naveen our butler was the best, Jawad the front office manager, Vivek the chef at Taste of India, Monjil our favourite gold cart driver, Sathis the pancake wizard. Everyone was so kind.

For guests with children, the guest house features outdoor play equipment. Snorkelling and walking tours are possible within the area, and Velaa Garden View, Fodhdhoo- Maldives offers a private beach area. The hotel exceeded our expectations! It’s particularly important that the island itself is beautiful, unlike many other budget islands. The journey from Malé takes about 3 hours by boat, but it’s definitely worth it. There’s a large beach with truly white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The hotel provides a private spot on the beach with loungers and umbrellas. We were practically alone on our part of the beach and rarely saw other guests. This island is perfect for snorkeling due to its abundance of coral reefs. Snorkeling gear (masks, snorkels, and fins) is available at the hotel. The staff is hospitable and caring, and the overall atmosphere is warm and homely despite the hotel’s modest size. Delicious breakfasts are included in the price, offering two types: a local breakfast featuring tuna and flatbreads, and a classic option with toast and sausages. Both breakfasts come with fried eggs, fresh fruit, and tea. Lunch can be purchased separately and is tasty and affordable. On our final day, the hotel surprised us with a complimentary candlelit dinner on the beach.

We had such an amazing time in Sabba! The staff is very friendly and caring. The island is beautiful and the reef is just so rich and unique. The locals are so friendly and respectful. Located on the island of Medhufaru in a 5.6 km lagoon in the Noonu Atoll, Soneva Jani features both overwater and island villas.

Each water villa opens to its very own stretch of lagoon and is complete with a private pool and a retractable roof to stargaze from the master bedroom. Some of the villas have slides from the top floor directly into the lagoon below. All villas are equipped with a spacious master bedroom with an adjoining kids sleeping area. All villas have an open-air bathroom with bathtub, shower and lagoon access. They also have a walk-in mini-bar with espresso machine and private wine cellar selection. An outdoor deck and seating area with sun loungers and direct access to the lagoon are also available. everything was perfect, luxurious place, friendly staff, amazing food and kids club is out of the world we have spent afternoon time in the Den through out our stay to enjoy our time with our daughters. Elsa was our butler for our stay she is an amazing person always helpful well Soneva is so lucky to have her. visiting Soneva was on my bucket list since 2016 and i have accomplished my desire.

The resort features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, nightclub and a kids' club. I like the main bar, the “old fashioned” taste was pretty good.
