We adored this place and having stayed in 6 different places during our 2 week trip in Mexico, this was the favorite. The location is out of this world. Hardly any construction along the coast and not many people. It is truly a most relaxing place.

We had such a wonderful stay at Diego’s place in Puerto Escondido. From the beginning, his communication was prompt and helpful, and he went out of his way to make us feel welcome — even letting us check in two hours early. When we arrived, he was there to greet us, show us around the property, and even gave us a lift around town to point out his favourite restaurants and help us drop off our laundry. The air conditioning was excellent, and the ceiling fans also worked beautifully — we were always cool and comfortable, even on the hotter days. It was quite unique too — there were no windows to the outside, just wooden shutters and fly screens, which gave it a really peaceful feel that we’d never experienced before. Throughout our stay, Diego continued to be an incredible host. He had great recommendations for food and things to do, and even organised a taxi to collect our laundry when we got caught up at the beach and couldn’t make it back before the shop closed. We also loved the location — just 15 minutes outside of La Punta, it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind, with some of the best beaches within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a more peaceful, local experience in Puerto Escondido with a genuinely thoughtful and knowledgeable host.
