This was by far one of our favorite stays while traveling in Africa. The hosts communicated nicely before we arrived, sharing the location and asking us what we were interested in doing while in town. They also gave amazing recommendations for close by food and drinks. The room and outdoor space was nice and spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and felt easy to relax in. The shower was perfect after a day of activities with good pressure and heat. It was a much needed feeling of home after traveling for so long. We came as strangers and left feeling like family! Another part was their recommendation to do a tour of Sandwich Harbor with the tour guide, Gideon. Hands down an amazing experience with fresh oysters, champagne, and good eats while in the middle of the Namib desert. After we expressed a desire to sandboard, he ensured we had an amazing spot and prepared boards for multiple awesome rides. Then we enjoyed a spectacular Braai with everyone and it is something I will remember forever.

The combination of the location, the apartment details with the sounds of surf were really quite exceptional. I slept long and deep. The super easy access to the mall and grocery store was also an unexpected pleasure.

The location was superb. The view from the balcony was great, you can actually see the jetty! Safe locality with various guest houses in the neighbourhood. However, the main road leading to the beach used to be literally empty in the late evening. Very near to the main market.
