Steps to a clean sandy beach, short stroll to many beachside restaurants. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, and extended it by a day as we didn’t want to leave this beachside paradise!

The hotel is right in front of the beach and it's super quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. The sunsets are amazing and the whole place feels peaceful. The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a fan and good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was included and it was fresh and tasty. We also tried some of the smoothies - really qood (no soft drinks) Hotel it has everything you need to relax and disconnect. We're Nicaraguan and it's not always easy to find a place like this close to home. Definitely recommended.

I really liked the hospitality, the comfort of the room, and the tranquility of the place. Everything was excellent, I would definitely come back.

A quiet location where you can hear the surf at night. Perfect pool, lots of shade, excellent food! We loved our two-story room with an ocean view terrace. Plenty of hot water in the bath and good AC. Easy access to the beach! The owners have two dogs and four cats. None of them will approach you. They are super relaxed.

Location was great right on the beach. Had to walk up the beach a bit for easier waves but waves right outside the door for more advanced surfers. The vibe was amazing , everyone , guest , staff, volunteers all so welcoming and warm! Highly recommend! Thanks Karin, Gretel, Lucy ,Chris & the rest of th team!

Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.
