A great exoerience. Beautiful hotel and super location on the fjotd. The room was very big and clean. The bath was also nice. The hotel has big exterior garden with lots of sitting areas. We took a rowing baot in the morning , it was so romantic. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Overall, I highly recommend this place for its beautiful décor, great amenities, and prime location. It’s a charming and comfortable spot that I’d love to return to!

So peaceful, in connection with the fjords at all times seeing them through the window, and everything I needed right there: a perfectly equipped kitchen, a beautiful dining room, a place to swim and relax, a beautiful trail around the corner, a supermarket, a kayak (and assistance) from the hosts... They were the most genuine, caring people, it was so nice to stay with them. Highly recommend to stay here!! Ideally for multiple days so you can really unwind, slow down, soak in the beauty...

The holiday home has private entrance. Our vacation at Nils Einar's was simply amazing—from the location to the house to the bed. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Nils is a fantastic host who was always available with help and advice. The holiday home was a wooden dream. Plenty of space for a family of five with little rascals. The amenities left nothing to be desired. But the best part was the location—right on Lake Jølster, with a private boat and swimming area, yet not too isolated. You could reach Skei, with its shopping options, in a five-minute drive or a 20-minute walk. The weather—with 10 days of sunshine and nearly 30°C—was the proverbial icing on the cake. At times, we felt like we had accidentally driven south toward Italy instead of heading north to Norway.
