You can tell the owners/managers take pride in their property by all the little things they got right. There's a long patio, a good bathroom with sufficient space for storage and plenty of hot water. Beds were very comfortable and had two spacious end tables with 4 plugs by each table. Most motels have tiny trash cans that need to be emptied daily or more often, but here they had a big one, as all should. Friendly, helpful staff.

Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s Bay. It is a 16-minute walk from Mt Vernon Akaroa. Location was perfect, and the view from the room was beautiful! Very comfortable room, got a great rest!

The owners were helpful and friendly, and very patient with our change in plans for check-in and check-out. The room was excellent; there was a bed in it's own room and another in the living room with a clear view of the beach! A full kitchen was in the room, and parking was convenient. Everything was very clean and comfortably cozy.

Timaru TOP 10 Park is a 6-minute drive from Caroline Bay Park and Aorangi Park. Centennial Park is an 11-minute drive away. Well appointed kitchen, nice size, great porch, very quiet. Location pretty close to town, could walk. Grocery store close by. Most restaurants downtown. Washer and dryer worked well. We used the BBQ 3 nights, great!

Absolutely loved my one night say in the Willowbank Motel ,from the friendliness of the staff after I rang the bell late at night, rather then checking my emails (my bad), to the comfort of the room .. would highly recommend a stay here. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Very well appointed space, with everything we needed to be comfortable. The lounge chairs facing an incredible view were comfortable for winding down after a long day of travel. Place was very clean, newly renovated. Had a comfortable bed and great shower. We received information on self entry just prior to our arrival. Entry was very smooth. Would stay there again.
