Featuring quiet street views, Amberlea Cottages features accommodation with balcony, around 1.1 km from Hokitika Beach. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Super cute cottages with everything you could possibly need during your stay. We especially appreciated that the use of the washer and dryer was included at no additional cost (even the washing powder!). They have a “contactless” check-in process: they send all the information you need to access the cottage ahead of your stay, although the owners live right next door and are available. About a 10-minute walk from the Hokitika town center and a short drive from the Glow Worm Dell. This was a great stop on our drive along the West Coast.

Wake up to stunning views of the Kaikoura Mountains and the sea at Panorama Motel. Our units are all ensuite and smoke-free. Every unit opens out onto either a patio area with outdoor seating or onto its own private balcony, to allow our guests to enjoy the panoramic views. We had a huge delay and arrived late. Annie at the reception left for us the unit open and prepared, and explained by mail very clearly how to find it, where to park etc. Parking was just in front of the door. The room had big windows with great views of the sea, and there was a sitting area outside, although it was too cold and windy to use it.

All accommodation features satellite TV and electric blankets. Quiet place near to the seal colony. Lovely house with great courtyard. Heater is nice. We only stay one night here. If we have more time, we will definitely stay longer.
