The house is beautiful, warm and very comfortable. There are two bedrooms with double beds, a room with double bunks and a sofa bed in the living room. The layout of the house is so good, and a huge bonus was a lockup garage. The kitchen was extremely well equiped plus there is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. The air-conditioning was very much appreciated as it was freezing, raining and hailing most of the day. Be sure to get supplies along the way as there really isn't any shopping in and around the area, though there are some cafes.

Walked in and instantly breathed a sigh of relief at being there. The kitchen was wonderfully fitted out, the addition of staple food items was great - if we’d decided to cook, or had been there longer.

The facility is amazing, and feels like home away from home. To top it up, the host provides the best service, and every single tiny gesture is well thought of. Offering luxury, self-contained accommodation in the small sea-side town of Kaka Point, this property is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife, living in their natural habitat, including Fur Seals,... The location was perfect wonderful views over the bay. Lots of extra little touches which made it special. We thought it was going to be our last visit to Catlin's being in our 70's but after this superior accommodation we shall return.
