The apartment is 6.5 km from Wild on Waiheke. The studio was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for our trip - even beach towels! The location is perfect, a short walk away from the beach and all of the main restaurants and shops. Couldn’t fault it at all, would definitely stay here again!

The property is non-smoking and is located 300 metres from Oneroa Beach. Jake’s place was fabulous! It was clean, had a lovely terrace, a washing machine and dryer, and was perfectly quiet allowing for a wonderful sleep. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the ferry on our last day. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Most of the items were made from scratch. tea time and goodies were delectable.

Among the many wonderful accomodations on Waiheke Island, we chose Wild Thyme because they gave detailed information about the location and facilities, which made it easy for us to imagine what our stay would be like. AND Wild Thyme was PERFECT in every way! The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, and were spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, while the place is located in a convenient area, shops and the beach of Onorea within walking distance. Most of all, Jules and Bruce were great hosts, being attentive and kind. It is all thanks to their welcome, my parents and I truly enjoyed an unforgettable vacation. Another BIG attraction is Jule's Wine Tour! The information is also written on the notebook provided in your room. I highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. She asked us about our wine preferences in advance and came up with the Perfect plan. We visited Allpress Olive Groves, Tantalus, Man O'War+lunch, Waiheke Gin Distillery and Passage Rock. It may have been partly because it was winter and the wineries were quiet, but Jules arranged with the winery staff to grant our selfish request to try wines(bubbles!) that were not on the regular tasting menu! She even arranged for us to taste limited edition gin at the distillery. She took us to hard-to-reach places in the east and south of the island, such as ManO'War and Passage Rock, where we enjoyed not only the drinks but also the charms of the island as a whole. It's only been a week since I returned home, but I already feel a strong desire to go back.

Absolutely outstanding accommodation. Clean, comfortable, & a warm welcome. This property is like a small boutique hotel ( separate from private residence) they have thought of absolutely everything. Welcome drinks and snacks in fridge. Extra towels, plenty of pillows, kitchen had everything you would need. The concept, design and execution of these studios was extraordinary. One ground level, the second raised up so both units have private, beautiful green scenery. Nice deck w roll out cover, bbq grill provided on your deck. Guest washing machine. High quality linens, toiletries, kitchen items. I can’t recommend this property enough, if you are lucky enough that it’s available, book it!

Situated in Waiheke Island, Manuka Cottage Oneroa offers accommodation with access to a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 600 metres from Oneroa Beach, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 6.5 km from Wild on Waiheke. This is a sunny, warm two bedroom cottage, in a central location - an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of Oneroa village. Rooms are light and bright, and the bathroom is fairly new and immaculately clean (as is the whole cottage). There is a heatpump for cooler days and good airflow with open wndows for hotter days. The cottage has a good deck for evening use during summer stays and a garden area in the front which is surprisingly private. The road itself is quiet and the whole experience is restful. The road is close to AT bus routes, so getting around without a car is pretty straightforward - it is a short run from the ferry terminal on the main bus route, for example. Decent sized fridge/freezer and a microwave in the kitchen. No oven but there is a portable double element unit in the cupboard for cooking with.

Veronika is a very friendly host who gave us good tips on the island. She even picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry which made the trip even more enjoyable. The location is perfect to explore the island with many shops around the corner. The house offers everything you need and has a fantastic view towards the sea. We definitely recommend this place.
