It was so cozy and felt like a little cabin in the woods, but only a 10 minute walk from the ferry and from town. Very close to the bus stop to get you to so many wineries on the island. Would love to stay again!

From communication before hand to meeting them and having great chats about the beautiful property . The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the north western patio/deck is a great place to have a late afternoon wine , thanks guys . The heated blanket on bed was the final cherry on the top . Having ebikes was a bonus to being able to get around , as would it be to have a car . We believe buses are pretty close too .

Room had a lovely water views on opp sides of the island, conveniently located to the village centre, clean with clear instructions for use of appliances within the apt, and the welcome chocolate and card, a lovely personal touch..

It has an excellent location, a lovely view, great patio, and the place had everything you could think you needed or didn't even know you needed while traveling abroad. I stayed at several places on my trip to New Zealand and Jake's place was the most detailed with such lovely hosts. I wanted to stay longer. And I fell in love with Waiheke Island. Easy to walk to the beach, town, wineries, tramping tracks, and close to bus stop. I traveled solo and felt so incredibly safe.

Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. Jules and Bruce were very welcoming and hospitable. Great to be picked up from the ferry and they were happy to run us around locally if required. Really helpful suggestions on where to go to see and eat and walks etc. Very comfortable room with everything you need for breakfast but no kitchen per se. Nice touch to have milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge.

Absolutely outstanding accommodation. Clean, comfortable, & a warm welcome. This property is like a small boutique hotel ( separate from private residence) they have thought of absolutely everything. Welcome drinks and snacks in fridge. Extra towels, plenty of pillows, kitchen had everything you would need. The concept, design and execution of these studios was extraordinary. One ground level, the second raised up so both units have private, beautiful green scenery. Nice deck w roll out cover, bbq grill provided on your deck. Guest washing machine. High quality linens, toiletries, kitchen items. I can’t recommend this property enough, if you are lucky enough that it’s available, book it!

This is a sunny, warm two bedroom cottage, in a central location - an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of Oneroa village. Rooms are light and bright, and the bathroom is fairly new and immaculately clean (as is the whole cottage). There is a heatpump for cooler days and good airflow with open wndows for hotter days. The cottage has a good deck for evening use during summer stays and a garden area in the front which is surprisingly private. The road itself is quiet and the whole experience is restful. The road is close to AT bus routes, so getting around without a car is pretty straightforward - it is a short run from the ferry terminal on the main bus route, for example. Decent sized fridge/freezer and a microwave in the kitchen. No oven but there is a portable double element unit in the cupboard for cooking with.

The location is perfect—right in the heart of Oneroa village and just 1km from the ferry terminal. It’s super convenient to get to many attractions on the island, whether by taxi, bus, or even on foot. Veronica was incredibly friendly and gave us all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The highlight was the stunning sea view from the bedroom window—it was absolutely breathtaking! If we visit Waiheke Island again, we would definitely stay here.

Incredible location, right by the beautiful beach and restaurants. Adrienne, the host, was super nice, she left us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift and let us check out later without us even asking. I truly recommend this place.
