Beautifully built and furnished apartment. Being able to fully open the glass doors on to the deck was fabulous. Very relaxing. Quiet, bush setting felt secluded but really only a few minutes to the Oneroa Village. Just perfect for 2 adults. Loved it

From communication before hand to meeting them and having great chats about the beautiful property . The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the north western patio/deck is a great place to have a late afternoon wine , thanks guys . The heated blanket on bed was the final cherry on the top . Having ebikes was a bonus to being able to get around , as would it be to have a car . We believe buses are pretty close too .

It was clean, had a lovely terrace, a washing machine and dryer, and was perfectly quiet allowing for a wonderful sleep. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the ferry on our last day. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Our host, Dyan, was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (which contained home made muffins to die for!) was delivered right to our room. Afternoon tea was a welcome treat too with more of Dyan's home baking. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend Dyan's hospitality. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. Jules and Bruce were very welcoming and hospitable. Great to be picked up from the ferry and they were happy to run us around locally if required. Really helpful suggestions on where to go to see and eat and walks etc. Very comfortable room with everything you need for breakfast but no kitchen per se. Nice touch to have milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge.

It was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully provisioned in a very quiet and secluded lush garden, yet centrally located.

This is a sunny, warm two bedroom cottage, in a central location - an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of Oneroa village. Rooms are light and bright, and the bathroom is fairly new and immaculately clean (as is the whole cottage). There is a heatpump for cooler days and good airflow with open wndows for hotter days. The cottage has a good deck for evening use during summer stays and a garden area in the front which is surprisingly private. The road itself is quiet and the whole experience is restful. The road is close to AT bus routes, so getting around without a car is pretty straightforward - it is a short run from the ferry terminal on the main bus route, for example. Decent sized fridge/freezer and a microwave in the kitchen. No oven but there is a portable double element unit in the cupboard for cooking with.

Host was lovely and great with communication, easy check in and check out with a complimentary drive to the ferry terminal, which was very generous!
