Felt like home, very large and clean room with small private terrace. Louise is a great host and very helpful. Not to mention the delightful breakfast with lots of fruits prepared by Louise. The Place is very close to the village and the restaurants. Also, we had lots of fun with Messy the dog. We really loved to stay here and we will highly recommend this place to our friends in Malaysia and Switzerland.

Our hosts were amazing people, and we felt like we were part of their family. We are already missing the delicious breakfasts Heather and Don served up each day, better than any hotel. The location was great, an easy walk to restaurants, the wharf and shops, and with a fabulous view of Mercury Bay.

The studio unit was private but has good access to the owner's facilities like the spa and the pool. We were given a BBQ set for our cooking in front of the unit, which was just great! The surroundings have a mature and immaculate garden. Claire and Ralph were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay here at Whangamata.
